Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson Make Grand Entrances to the Central Intelligence Premiere
Are they ready to rumble?
With Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson standing more than a foot taller than his “Central Intelligence” costar Kevin Hart, probably not — at least not without a lot of pain and a lawsuit. But that didn’t stop the wrestler known as The Rock from bringing a few theatrical flourishes from his ring days to the Los Angeles premiere.
Hart pulled up to the black — not red — carpet on June 10 in a black party bus filled with boisterous Team Hart followers, only to be outdone a few minutes later when Johnson made his arrival in bright red double-decker bus packed with Team Johnson faithful.
“We wanted to break some ground, let’s do something different that hasn’t be done,” Hart told reporters of the grand entrances. “So I showed up on a party bus thinking I was going to one-up him and he shows up on a double decker! It’s what we do. Needless to say he’s got a bigger bus!”
Though Hart stressed that didn’t necessarily translate to a bigger … well, you can watch the video. “Central Intelligence” opens Friday.
