Did Laurence Fishburne reveal major Batman v Superman spoilers?

Unleashing his inner fanboy, Fishburne gushed about some emotional scenes in Dawn of Justice during a recent interview with Made in Hollywood.

Batman v Superman Spoilers – Below

“My favorite, favorite moment in the movie is when Batman meets Superman’s mom,” he explained. Confirming if he’s referring to a specific line from the film, “I’m a friend of your son’s,” Fishburne clutches his heart dramatically.

Love that,” he added. “I love that. It’s so human and it’s so relatable.”

Some fans commented that Fishburne’s animated response gives away a plot detail that could be interpreted as his reaction to a death in the film.

In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Big Apple’s biggest heroes become enemies when Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman are at war with each other. Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, camps it up as an eccentric villain determined to bring them down–seemingly pulling the strings behind their rivalry.

As the editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, Perry White, Fishburne plays Clark Kent (Superman, Henry Cavill) and Lois Lane’s (Amy Adams) boss.

Batman v Superman: Laurence Fishburne Praises Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman Entrance

Gal Gadot, who makes her first appearance as Wonder Woman in the movie, joins forces to keep peace. Fishburne said he was completely wowed by her spectacular debut in the action-packed film. He described the moment as “incredible.”

With a totally stunned look on his face, he added, “Oh, my god, her entrance is like — and I’m talking about her action entrance, I’m not talking about … I’m talking about when she’s in full regalia. When she shows up, it’s like, ‘Ahhhhh!’ It’s killing, it’s killing. So that’s a huge moment for me.”

The Zack Snyder-directed movie, which also stars Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons and Diane Lane hits theaters on Friday.

Some highlights from the interview:

On Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze in “Batman and Robin” (1997)… “Arnold’s Mr. Freeze was great. (Mimicking the actor) “The name is Freeze, remember it, for it’s the sound of your doom!” Laughing, “He was wonderful as Mr. Freeze.”

On his favorite Batman actor…
“Because of my age, Adam West is my favorite Batman. I was 6 years old—7 years old. There’s nothing that dulls that for me.”

On which Batman movie he would like to be in…
I would want to be in that original one with Adam West (Batman), Burgess Meredith (The Penguin), Cesar Romero (The Joker) and Frank Gorshin (The Riddler) and I would play The Riddler—that’s who I want to play. If I could go back to that original Batman television movie (1966), I would want to play The Riddler.

On his Superman Halloween costume…
“I’ve dressed up as Superman recently, in recent years, with my young one. And I sort of played a Batman in a little movie called ‘The Matrix’—I played a Batman-esque character.

On why he dressed as Superman instead of Batman on Halloween…
“Because I started working on ‘Man of Steel.’ When my wife and daughter found out I was doing it, they sent me a bouquet and said I was their Superman.”
