'Deadpool' Slays at Box Office with Record $135 Million

A naughty superhero got  a very nice reception this Valentine’s Day.

The irreverent and very R-rated “Deadpool” killed at the box office with a record $135 million over the holiday weekend, according to estimates Sunday.

The Ryan Reynolds-starring Marvel film easily topped “The Matrix Reloaded” ($91.8 million) for the top debut for an R-rated movie and last year’s “Fifty Shades of Grey” ($85.2 million) as the biggest February opener ever.
