The “Fast and Furious” franchise will come to a close — wrapping with a trilogy — but with a franchise this valuable it just can’t completely end there.

Universal and the series star Vin Diesel and laying plans to continue the $1.5 billion global phenomenon through spin-offs and prequels, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Diesel, who starred in the first installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise in 2001,  says the next film will be set in “New York, baby!” It’ll directed by F. Gary Gray, who recently directed “Straight Outta Compton.”
