He may have impressed the critics with his work in “Black Mass,” but in the accounting office, Johnny Depp gets a big thumbs down.

The 52-year-old star was named Hollywood’s most overpaid actor of 2015 by Forbes  Wednesday, unseating last year’s holder of the dubious honor, Adam Sandler.

The financial magazine includes Depp, who also starred in the box office bomb “Mortdecai,” as among those male leads “who charge top dollar but don’t always deliver at the ticketbooth.”

Forbes calculated that Depp’s recent movies returned just $1.20 for every $1 he was paid, putting him ahead of the No. 2 overpaid actor Denzel Washington, who returned $6.5 for every $1 he made on his recent movies.

The list of the year’s top (bottom?) five overpaid actors is rounded out by Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Will Smith.
