Made in Hollywood Goes Behind the Screen of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

The turtles are back – and so are those amazing special effects – in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.” On this weekend’s Made in Hollywood TV show,  Megan Fox reveals all the secrets to acting with computer-generated characters, who may not even be with her on set.

“The worst takes I ever do are the ones where I don’t have the actors in the scene with me, where I have to do the whole scene alone, and there’s no one there and they just sort of yell the dialogue at me,” she tells reporter Kylie Erica Mar on this weekend’s show. “Those are the worst  because it’s just so hard to be connected and to interact and have a conversation with someone who’s not there.”

Me Before You Star Emilia Clarke Talks to Made in Hollywood

Acting challenges of another kind confronted Emilia Clarke as she stepped far away from the dragons and fantasy of Game of Thrones to play an ordinary working-class woman who falls in love with a quadriplegic aristocrat with suicidal feelings in “Me Before You.”

“It was being able to see the chance to play this character, which I feel is much closer to me than my other characters that I’m known for,” she tells Made in Hollywood. “It made me cry and it made me laugh and it was just a beautiful story.”

Costar Sam Claflin felt the same way. “I knew it’d be very emotionally, physically and mentally, challenging to kind of take on the role of Will,” Claflin says, “and to tell a beautiful story about real life and real people and dealt with certain subject matters in such a fragile and lovely way.”
