Lady Gaga and Diane Warren: Best Original Song Oscar Nominees

Will the Oscars go gold for Gaga?

Lady Gaga and songwriter Diane Warren are nominated in the Best Original Song category for their collaboration on “The Hunting Ground’s” anthem “Til It Happens to You.”

The ladies are in competition against The Weeknd for “Fifty Shades of Grey’s” “Earned It.” J. Ralph’s song “Manta Ray” from the film “Racing Extinction.” David Lang’s “Simple Song #3” from “Youth.” And Sam Smith’s “Writings on the Wall” from 007’s “Spectre”

This is the eighth Best Original Song Oscar nomination for Warren, but we think her partnership with Lady Gaga could help her end the night on a high note.

The 88th Academy Awards airs Feb. 28 on ABC.
