Oscar Isaac Says Poe Dameron 'Has an Issue With Authority' in 'Star Wars'

Much like director J.J. Abrams and the rest of his cast, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” star Oscar Isaac is tight-lipped about revealing the details of the hotly anticipated sequel.

But during an interview with Made in Hollywood, he did offer up clues about his character Poe Dameron. Isaac says Dameron is the best pilot in the world.

“He believes in the Force,” Isaac explains. “He’s committed to the resistance. He’s rebellious. He has an issue with authority. He’s a fast talker.”

Isaac joins fellow newcomers Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, who help lead the fight in the resistance, along with returning cast members reprising their roles, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens Dec. 18.
