Pamela Anderson Joins Baywatch Big-Screen Movie

Only last month, Pamela Anderson seemed uncertain about whether she’d take part in the big-screen reboot of “Baywatch,” the TV show that helped make her an international sex symbol.

“Well, they called me and asked me to be in it, but I haven’t decided yet,” she told Harper’s Bazaar for its March issue. “I don’t know. I don’t like remakes of TV shows and I kind of want to leave it as is and be remembered for that. I don’t know if I wanna go on ‘Baywatch’ and be like, the old lady working at a counter somewhere.”

Well, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happy after all — the old lady part, that is.

Anderson did in fact join the “Baywatch” movie, and judging by the sexy photo posted Friday by star Dwayne Johnson on Instagram, the actress-model will have a very glamorous part. Her blond hair teased, Anderson flashes lots of cleavage in a low-cut blouse and white blazer as she stands next to Johnson, who’s taking over the part David Hasselhoff played in the show. (Hasselhoff also has a role in the movie.)

Pamela Anderson Role in Baywatch Unknown – Kelly Rohrbach Plays C.J. Parker

Just what role Anderson will have remains unknown. She famously squeezed into the red bathing suit as lifeguard C.J. Parker for five seasons between 1992 and 1997 and reprised the role in the “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding” reunion TV movie in 2003, where we find out C.J.’s passion is meditation. She also appeared as C.J. in DirecTV commercials in 2007.

But the movie casts Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kelly Rohrbach as C.J. In his Instagram post, Johnson remains mum on Anderson’s part even as he gushes about her.

“She introduced the world to ‘CJ Parker’ and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time,” Johnson wrote. “A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCHcast. We couldn’t have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!”
