“Spotlight” solidified its position as an Oscar best picture favorite with a top nomination Wednesday for the SAG Awards while  “Straight Outta Compton” nabbed a surprise nod from acting peers. “Beasts of No Nation,” “The Big Short” and “Trumbo” rounded out the ensemble film nominations.

Idris Elba was the only individual performer of color to be nominated for movie acting, sure to fuel the ongoing debate about diversity in Hollywood.

The 22nd SAG Awards will air live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 30.
