What Movies Are Out: Office Christmas Party, Miss Sloane, Nocturnal Animals

Jennifer Aniston is back among friends.

The actress reunites with her “Horrible Bosses” costar Jason Bateman for “Office Christmas Party,” one of three movies to watch this weekend, and Made in Hollywood has all the behind-the-screen details on this weekend’s episode.

“It’s all friends and family,” the actress tells reporter Patrick Stinson of what drew her to the comedy about the holiday bash that spins out of control “What’s better than that?”

Costar T.J. Miller says those positive vibes found their way onto the screen. “There has to be heart to a holiday movie,” he says. “And I think that we managed to get that right, that mix of heart and R-rated comedy that isn’t raunchy.”

“Miss Sloane,” a drama about the high-powered world of Washington politics, stars Jessica Chastain as a lobbyist who takes up a gun-control cause.

“It’s about issues that are really important,” she tells reporter Kylie Erica Mar. “It creates a discussion. You learn things that you didn’t know. But also the character that I’m playing,  you don’t see female characters like this that often, or ever. Usually these kinds of roles go to the men. I’m happy to represent the ladies.”

And “Nocturnal Animals” has Jake Gyllenhaal finding cialis generique another powerful role with a strong script.

“When I read the screenplay, was just kind of left with this strange vibration from it,” Gyllenhaal says of the drama that captured the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. “The thriller aspect along with three other different storylines, which is all connected to this love story in the end. It was brilliant.”
